The typical user
of the resources found in one of HDRC’s Medical Libraries
could be anyone with an interest in finding medically
sourced information about:
- fetal development
- embryonic development
- sexually transmitted diseases (STDs)
- sexual health
- abortion
- reproductive options

Spanish and French language resources are available
within the libraries.
Health teachers, health educators, and sex ed teachers:
HDRC's medical library for schools offers free teacher
resources, free evidenced based education materials and free
classroom resources.
The free sex education materials in the teacher library
include sourced medical facts and free resources about human
development, fetal stages, and sexual health education.
Other free materials include up to date STD statistics and
STI statistics in fact sheets and presentations.
Classroom resources for teachers also include items for
purchase such as grade appropriated DVDs "Preview of a
Birth" and "You Are a Masterpiece" and a brochure "What They
Never Told You About The Facts of Life".
HDRC's "Preview of a Birth" and "Are You Dying to Have Sex?"
have been approved by Arkansas Board of Education. "Preview
of a Birth" has been approved by the Utah Board of
Education.
Staff and volunteers of pregnancy resource centers and
advocacy organizations:
HDRC’s medical library for nonprofits offers free PRC
training materials, free medically cited resources, and free
peer counselor online courses and training materials.
Resources for staff and volunteers also include items for
purchase such as DVDs titled “Preview of a Birth”, “You Are
a Masterpiece” and "Just the Facts" and our classic fetal
development brochure, “What They Never Told You About the
Facts of Life”.
Resources for Medical Providers
HDRC’s medical library for patients offers free
medically cited resources, and free peer counselor online
video clips and fact sheets. Print from your computer
professional quality information for your patients about
STDs and STIs, fetal development and reproductive options.
